<p>HotChalk is a well-funded start-up with a fun, interactive team that believes deeply in changing the education industry. We partner with traditional non-profit, brick-and-mortar universities to bring their degree programs online.</p>
<p>We are looking for a mid level web producer who is ready to take the next step in responsibility regarding both SEO and content strategy. The right candidate will have done and seen it all at least once and be comfortable becoming an integral part of handing technical web optimization issues, developing targeted content strategies, diving into analytical data, and collaborating with design and development personnel. The Web Producer will be a critical part of the Content and Communities team, responsible for driving organic traffic and lead growth for HotChalk’s university partners and internal websites.</p>
<h3><strong>The ideal candidate will have:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li style="color:#000;">3+ years of lead generation industry experience (preferably in education)</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Advanced knowledge of SEO including best practices around site architecture and keyword research</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithm updates and their impact on search rankings</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Experience creating high quality content strategies for both reference and compelling content</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Experience with web analytics including key user statistics</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Knowledge of advanced link building strategies for attracting high value links and media mentions</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>The following skills are a plus:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li style="color:#000;">Ability to write and edit articles for websites when needed</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Knowledge of  HTML, CSS, and WordPress</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Experience with Excel and advanced features like pivot tables</li>

<p>We are looking for a Web Designer with 4-5 years of experience designing and strategizing for an online, consumer-facing audience. You should be an established designer in the online space, and have an online portfolio that demonstrates originality, conceptual design, innovation, problem-solving, and personal expression.</p>
<p>Experience designing for print is also essential. You must have an understanding of the underlying business and technical issues that influence online design. Bonus points for design experience in lead generation.</p>
<p>This is a hands-on position that requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize. This is an onsite position in Campbell, CA.</p>
<h3><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></h3>

<p>HotChalk, Inc, seeks a self-motivated, flexible, and dedicated individual with strong technical and communication skills to perform complex windows, telecommunications, and network systems administration.</p>
<p>Under the general supervision of the Director of Technology, the Senior Technical Support Specialist support computer hardware, software, and network systems; installs and supports network servers, LAN and WAN components, and telecommunications equipment; provides hardware and software planning and evaluation; provides problem solving and training for end users; ensures systems efficiency and integrity, and provides research and support for new technologies to be used in multiple environments.</p>
<h3><strong>Technical Qualifications:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li style="color:#000;">Windows 7, Windows Server 2003/8 services &#038; features (files sharing, print queues, WSUS, etc)</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Active Directory (group policies, user groups, etc)</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Email client/server administration (MS, Google)</li>
<li style="color:#000;">TCP/IP networking, VLAN/WLAN</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Software licensing, distribution, and patching</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Tier 2/3 support experience</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li style="color:#000;">Responsible for providing on-site &#038; remote support of end-user computing devices (computers, peripherals, handheld devices, etc)</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for network administration</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Establish best-practices and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware (infrastructure)</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, and UPS&#8217;</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Manage and sure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Integrate IP telephony systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and other Internet-based services and protocols</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Configure, image, and install hardware</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Perform moves, adds, changes (physical and system related)</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Assess, test, and provide an analysis on product and service recommendations on future growth needs</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Vendor management, monitoring, and SLA adherence</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Provides after-hours support as needed</li>

<h3><strong>Required Skills/Experience:</strong></h3>

<li style="color:#000;">5+ years experience in technical support roles </li>
<li style="color:#000;">3 + years experience in the network field</li>
<li style="color:#000;">2+ years experience in a lead role</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Expertise in end-user support, including Windows/MAC operating systems &#038; Active Directory</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Hands-on knowledge of SIP, TCP/IP, IEEE 802.11 protocols, etc</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Hands-on trouble-shooting skills of desktop, voice/data, and server devices</li>
<li style="color:#000;">Strong communication skills, written and verbal</li>
