The ARRL Foundation generally awards start up funding to
organizations for new amateur radio related projects, and are rarely awarded
for follow up projects. The funding awards range from $1,000 to $3,000, with
most awards approximately $2000. The majority of grants fund the acquisition of
equipment, fixture and material, including some grants for study materials. The

Fund for Teachers
Fund for Teachers provides grants directly to teachers,
supporting their professional learning. Their experiences come in many forms,
and share the purpose of enhanced teaching skills. We believe that by
experiencing personal and professional potential, teachers inspire students.

IBM Grants
IBM's philanthropic resources are allocated to specific
projects and programs that fit within our targeted areas of interest. The
overwhelming majority of grants are initiated by IBM, do not stem from

Mockingbird Charitable Funding
Through our book and album projects, the Mockingbird

Teacher Loan Forgiveness
For a Stafford loan borrower to qualify for loan forgiveness
of up to $17,500, the borrower must be employed full-time for five consecutive
years as a highly qualified secondary school teacher of science or math or a
highly qualified elementary or secondary school special education teacher. The
increased amount of teacher loan forgiveness is only available to an individual
who had no outstanding balance of principal or interest owing on any loan made,
