Monday, 01 September 2008 00:00
Due to delays and weather, the train ride took ten hours. I waited for its arrival at the station between 10pm and 4am. I'm exhausted now but I'll be reporting from a shelter tomorrow to get reaction once the storm hits.

Due to delays and weather, the train ride took ten hours. I waited for its arrival at the station between 10pm and 4am. I'm exhausted now but I'll be reporting from a shelter tomorrow to get reaction once the storm hits. The quote of the day comes from a middle-aged African-American man: "The higher-ups actually cared this time. And that's why we are alive." Check out video of our reporting from the storm's path on the Nightly News website later today.
