This year’s U.S. presidential campaigns have (arguably) generated more excitement among America’s youth than any since the Richard Nixon-George McGovern faceoff back in 1972. Here at HotChalk, we’re happy to help bring Democracy in Action directly into your classrooms via daily updates straight from the convention floor.    

Luke Russert, son of the late Tim Russert of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” is reporting - and blogging - on youth issues for NBC News from the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. NBC Learn, the education arm of NBC News, in partnership with HotChalk, brings you Luke's blog. Luke will give young voters a look at the activities and highlights from these two historic events. With day two of the Democratic convention in full-swing, Russert has already posted several reports. Check them out.
